Next Eight Players Announced for Canada 23 Man Final Roster

VANCOUVER, BC – The Canadian Lacrosse League Canada international program is happy to announce the next eight (8) players named to the 23 Man Final Roster for the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship.
“We're excited to welcome the next eight (8) players that will join the first set of players already announced to the Canada roster as we prepare for the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Mississauga” said Chris Fox Executive Director of the Canadian Lacrosse League and Canada General Manager. “With these eight players we are continuing our efforts and commitment to building our roster through our Regional Combines.” Fox added.

Returning players from the 2018 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship include; Laine Hruska, Wyatt Haux, Quinn Ingalls, and Brendan Szabo. "We were able to see the rest of this core group at E-Box this past April, [Garrett] Depape, [Cooper] Gettel, [Callin] Harris, and [Sam] LeClair each bring value to the line-up." Said Fox of the new additions. "LeClair and his Junior B team [St. Catharines Spartans] were eliminated from the OJBLL playoffs, but he's still currently playing as an Affiliated Player with the St. Catharines Athletics [OJALL]. So, we might have to make some final adjustments to the roster if he remains unavailable."
The remaining seven (7) available spots of the 23 Man Final Roster will be announced the weekend of July 27th in preparation for a mini-camp, which will start August 3rd for the Canada international program. The 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship will take place August 6-11 at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
CANADIAN LACROSSE LEAGUE - As a IIJL Member the Canada international program is operated by the Canadian Lacrosse League. Established to develop, administer, promote, and progress a Canadian national domestic Major Junior lacrosse league, international program, and international championship for junior-aged players.
