An IIJL Founding Member Nation, the game of lacrosse is a gift from our creator for healing and the proper application of mind, body, and spirit introduced at the time of creation. The Haudenosaunee are the founders of the original game of dehontsigwaehs (Dey-hoon-chee-gwa-ehs), translation "they bump hips". As an IIJL Founding Member Nation, operated by Gewas Schindler, Haudenosaunee (formerly known as Iroquois) compete at each and every IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship. In preparation for the 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship, Haudenosaunee will be holding tryouts with dates and locations to be announced. Haudenosaunee is accepting interest to participate (complete the form below) from any and all eligible players ages twenty (20) to sixteen (16) who are interested in competing at any or all of the combine sessions. Players must be born on or between January 1, 2003 – December 31, 2007. Therefore, a player must not be or be turning twenty one (21) years of age in 2023. Interested players must be a member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy; Cayuga, Mohawk, Onondaga, Oneida, Seneca, or Tuscarora. |
