Austria, lead by KAC Box Lacrosse, will be competing at future IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championships. In preparation for their eventual debut, organizers of the team are accepting applications from players who are interested in a once in a lifetime experience. Players must be of "Junior" age for competition. Therefore, a player must not be or be turning twenty one (21) years during future tournaments. Interested players must be considered heritage eligible, as defined by Austria, which includes a parent/step-parent/guardian, grandparent, and/or great grandparent being born in Austria or of Austrian decent. Contributions and conditions of residency (living abroad) and/or education (college/university) also qualify players to compete with Austria. Please use the contact form below if you are interested in wearing the Austrian triband in international indoor junior lacrosse competition.
Inclusion on the team and competing at the 2021 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship will directly contribute to the growth of box lacrosse in Austria. The IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship is an immersive box lacrosse experience with, at least, six (6) full international indoor games including Round-Robin, Playoff, and Medal Games.
